My First Seven! RG7321

Hello good people of the sevenstring.org community! I've been browsing around the board for about a month now, but this would be my first post. Until I had purchased a seven, I personally felt that I wasn't worthy of posting.

7

Anyways, the deal I got for my RG7321 was unbelievable. I walked into the instrument store and the first thing that caught my eye was a pair of EMGs. As I went in for a closer look, I realized it was an Ibanez RG7321. Obviously the pickups were purchased and installed seperately, so I was very excited inside. I checked the price and it was only $465 or so. I wasted no time to reserve it so I would be able to buy it the following day.

It turns out it's a used guitar (looks brand new, and it is basically), but the original owner did the whole set up and left the guitar at the store and went somewhere for a year. Afterwards he sold the guitar back to the store, lol.

Heh, that's my little story. I'll post up pics in the near future if anyone is interested .

EDIT: I can't post pics yet because apparently I need 15 more posts. So here's a link to my Gallery where some pics are located.

(I know my 7321 doesn't compare to Dendroaspis's :P. That thing is amazing.)

Nice find, though for the price I'm hoping that included a hardshell case.

I'm personally going to be pimping out my 7321 in the near future

Oh I live in Canada, so it was like 50% off the price of a brand new RG7321 with EMG 707's. I had to buy a case seperately which costed around $80. The total was approx, $630.

Yea, I'll post some pics soon :P.

P.S. EMG 707's cost $160.00 each (without tax). Arg... lol.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet that was the guitar I was originally opting for but when I went to pick it up the store said they hadnt had their shipment so they gave me a Schecter 007 Elite instead.

I'll still end up buying a 7321 and customizing the balls of it though.

But for the moment I love my schecter.

Nice catch and welcome to ze vorld of ze zeventh ztring!

Wow you got a 7321 pre-loaded with EMG's for 465 bucks. That's a helluva deal.

I'll add a ! RG7321's are good guitars, mine is my main 7. I also own an RG7621 (Japanese made, stock with Dimarzio's and slighty better body contouring) with EMG's.

Good lucky with it and welcome to the forum.
