B standard. Although I might try something different (A E A D G B E?) with the Washburn.

You can call me Johann. I have a blog about guitar effects.

well, on my RG1077XL, Im gonna use A standard (ADGCFAD), on one of my sixes i have it tuned weird, to DGDFAD, and i use E Standard (EADGBE) but i also use that one for Drop D and Open D5 (DADADD). The other ones i use Drop C(CGCFAD), and Drop B (BF#BEG#C#).

like i said, nothin special.

Looking for an Ibanez RG970XL

For 7's I usually go with standard BEADGBE or ADADGBE. On 6's I tune to standard EADGBE, DADGBE, Db and CGCFAD.

SevenatoR is a jewel in the rough
Drop A - A E A D G B E

But I'll confess that I'm thinking about going back to B Standard....

So when I buy your 1077, it'll be in tune for me.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

Old thread, and one I'm surprised I never answered.

I play mainly in standard B. However, I'll do a bit of Drop-A for fun every now and then, and ADADGAD is just a damned cool sounding tuning.

My sixes are generally in standard E, but I'll also do Drop-D or DADGAD if the mood strikes me, and every once in a while I'll decide I can play slide and tune to open-E, which is kind of fun.

"...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon."
