So I just played a jp7...

I was at GC the other day with a friend one mine and they actually had some 7's. A 7321, which I picked up and tooled around with for awile. But then I noticed they had another one, one I had never seen before (in real life). So I quickly grab it and run off to one of those sound booth thinsg they have and plug tha bitch in.
I gotta' say, I have never loved a guitar so much. That neck is the absolute best neck on a 7. I swear to god. I fucking love this guitar. So anyways, I was getting down on it (haha) and I was checking it out, looking it over and I noticed a battery slot on the back. And I was like "No way!". So I flip the switch and hell fucking yeah! Accoustic!! haha I think I'm in love dudes.

GCs vary that way. The nearest one to me got rid of all their EBMM stuff about a year ago and now only carry the OLP imitations. But some of the others in my area still carry a couple of EBMMs, though *never* a JP anymore.

I always imagined it as a stunning guitar to play on.

RIP MIKE

Yeah, this GC was hella far from my house, and oddly enough had the most 7's I've ever seen in one store (two). The others didn't have any, and one in SF finally did (7321) And Mawdyson, It so is. I am gonna buy one. Piezo's sounded great too btw.

I'm not suprised one bit that you really liked the JP7 'cause... well... they kick absurd ammounts of ass. I'm just shocked that there was a guitar in a Guitar Center that actually played well! Then again, all of my JP7s have come out of the box set up perfectly.

A guitar out-of-tune at guitar center? I'm always surprised to find one that is in tune.
