I've been looking for a Jackson Kelly KE-7 for awhile now and have seen it once on some site all in french, but haven't seen it anywhere else, and I dont want to get one customized if I can help it. Anyone know anything about this model or if it was discontinued?

Yes. It's been discontinued for several years now. They're fairly rare - the only Japanese bolt-on Jackson 7 with 24 frets, too.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

Stay away from the KE-7. Just absolute garbage. The worst japanese jacksons I've ever played. Same goes for the old DR-7s. Save up for the DK7 or something.

Yeah, but it was a bolt-on. Don't know why anyone would pay custom shop prices for a Fender-style bolt-on joint on a Kelly.

man, with that kind of eye candy I don't think it matters! Some people just prefer bolt ons I guess... Also means when the fat bird you pulled with your beer goggles on sits on it that it's only the neck you need to replace
