Those pickups are hideous!

But at least the paint chips are on the backsides of the guitar. Not noticable from the front view. Welcome to the 7-string piezo club!

Anyway, I've got a 2027 and love it. I'd say either put the same pups in as your K7 or try a blaze custom in the bridge. i spent ages looking for a pickup[ that worked in it, and the BC just did the trick.

Oh, and have a hunt around for the KJG mod, and do it to it. It makes it waaaaaaay more flexible as you'll then be able to run piezo and mags at the same time. the piezo's are awesome as well. It's a hell of a nice guitar once you get the pickups right and the modification done. I've got the wiring diagram from Kevan lying around if kevan doesn't show up himself, so just PM me if you want it.

And dude, i wish i had the spending frenzy ability, you're picking up serious gear!

Oh, and just my opinion having looked at possibly the ugliest pickups i've ever seen (good luck selling them, oh, wait, there's jemsite!), but i tried the evo7 in mine and it was cool because you could hear all the strings, but to me it otherwise sucked as it had no body and no life to it.

Besides, you NEED new pickups, no use throwing up every time you play the guitar...

And why the hell would you need to run both piezos and mags at the same time? I don't get that.
