Nice score! I saw it and aside from the pups it looked OK to me - for $920 w/ case. I've had mine for 3 years and it's a great all around 7 string.

Record a picked passage, with clean mags and piezo, perfect doubling. OR appregiated chords with distorted one side and piezo on the other AND you can pull that off live without any hassle almost

Not used all the time, but think of it as an effect pedal, you don't use those all the time either

I think he wanted pickups the same colour as the guitar, but couldn't find them. hence he figured that the blend of the two colours would look like the desired colour from afar.

Anyone know the tone difference between the length-wise grained 2027's vs. the RG7CT's width-grain. I can imagine it has a slight effect.
