New EBMM JP in the Works?

Let's hope they make a seven. I'm sure some of you have seen pics of a new prototype JP, and to go along with that and any and all sitings of John playing this new proto at various DT gigs, here is some exciting info from the boss man himself over at Ernie Ball:

Ive already posted the gist of this previously, but for those of you who missed it here it is.

What is funny is that we were going for this modern, tightly focused, articulated tone that could handle John's speed and precision. Then he's killing time in my Desert office playing my new favorite the 20th Silo ( which is a real vintage axe) while Im answering emails and he keeps playing and keeps saying how neat this guitar is. So for giggles I say Ill make some guitars with these specs thinking nothing of it that maybe he might use them in the studio or something.
Bottom line he started playing it in the show three shows ago for one song and then for possibly DT's most important show ever he uses it for 40% of the show.

The concept of using alder, maple, and the double secret mahog tone plug is really fabulous. We are prototyping basses with this combo and now I'm gonna have to make Luke one!

I've been watching this development like a hawk! The only thing that I'm not insanely happy about my JP 7 is the basswood tone. I'm not a super cork sniffer and I don't believe that alder or mahogany or whatever is better, I just prefer other woods. Every few months I get to the very brink of selling it but the playability stops me cold.

I would literally sell organs black market style for a JP 7 with alder or mahogany body and a maple top! Droooooooolllllllll!
