Sanding necks?

Hi, I'm thinking about sanding the neck of my Agile Interceptor, which seems like a baseball bat for me, compared to my Ibanez 7420.
I've read that some of you guys do it and that isn't difficult, but I have no idea and I'm afraid of screw it up. Someone can post a tutorial or something? It would be very helpful! thanks.

Usually when you sand a neck, it's because you're trying to remove whatever finish is on the back. I'm sure you could sand it down a touch to make it a little smaller, but I would either have a neck made (Warmoth) or take it to a pro. There's too much that could go wrong.
