Now that's something I did not expect to find. It doesn't look all that great to me, but damn, won't see another one for quite some time. Im thinking of getting it if it doesn't get too high. I emailed to see if they'll ship to Canada. If not, then someone here can be the middle man

* Scott deems all other lefties on this board false if they plan on bidding, and he knows they are thinking of it, and fears that blood will be shed in the process.

All yours Scott. I have a Hellraiser coming soon so hopefully my GAS will be quelled for a while.

I think Soares'y tend to make more tenor guitars, banjo's, mandolins and the like but I have heard they are well constructed for bargain priced instruments. Good luck!

Make sure you do some research on these, and secure a return policy you're comfortable with. I've heard some bad things about them, regarding build quality and playability. I don't mean to knock them, or burst your bubble, just a heads up. And bear in mind I've never played one.

Kidding. Looking at it, well, I don't know what to think. It looks like a cheap acoustic on one hand, and the gloss looks a little uneven around the fretboard edge in the side pic, but on the other it's a lefty 7, which almost HAS to be a custom job. So maybe it's just got this weird retro cosmetic thing going, but is well built?

Even if it's not, though, for $50, well, it's tough to argue, you know?

EDIT - interesting, it's strung up with flatwounds.
