Gorgeous finish - I think I told you that when you posted this at Jemsite.
Doesn't change the fact that the scale needs to be longer for me to buy one... :/

The neck profile is a bit thicker than a UV profile (been a few years since I had a UV green dot, so take that with a grain of salt) however its not as thick as other 7's I have tried. I would say its probably between and old UV neck and a 1527 5-peice. The fingerboard is smoking tho and the fretwork is very good. I have a few Warmoth 6 necks and this 7 and Ive never had any kind of neck straightness issues so action is typically very low. Im almost tempted to route and stick a middle humbucker in this guitar kinda ala-Nightswan for just a tad more diversity in tone. I love the bridge tone but it feels wierd for me to not have the ability to flick a selector switch for a different legato tone.
I actually just grabbed that Blade gray PAF7 that Zimbloth has so Im really tempted to stick it in the middle position when I get it. |

That's cool, thanks for replying. I think I could deal with that sort of thickness as my current 2000 UV has a thicker neck than my old UV777GR. Those original UV's had great necks, I don't know why they changed them.
