Fuck, yeah, thats the same experience i had.... NEVER had problems with the LoTRS.... my S7420 had a setup like shit as i got it, bcuz the guy who owned it before tuned it like a chello or something..... so, the first thing i did was restring it, clean everything and set it up.... since that it was fucking awesome...... can also tune it to Drop A without any detuning of the other strings..... since i love divebombing and things like that, the TRS is often in use, but works perfectly.....

I Also like the Neck Pickup..... Changed the Bridge to an SD Invader.... Installing Pickups with angles on the backplate is actually a little problematic, bcuz you need to change the backplate with the one from the Ibanez Stock PUs...
S-Series cavitys are fucking flat compared to RG or something, so the pickup might get realy near the strings.....

Congrats to that awesome guitar... love the S body shape + it weights nothing, sounds awesome.... if it had 24 frets and was available neck through it would be the guitar of my dreams.....

sooner or later i will also get an S7420FM.... but i'm looking for one with wave inlays..... i think ill never find one in Germany + i have no job at the moment but if there was one on germany eBay, i would rob a bank or something....

go with the waves. the only way to fly. seriously, these geetars NEED duncan distortions in them. do it and never look back or ever think of routing out that body for emgs. IMO the best ibanez 7's made aside from the bridge.
rock on.
kenny
btw. itrader taken care of for metalfiend666. keep rockin'

Yeah, I'm loving it more and more each day. It sounds and plays crazy good. I'm putting a DiMarzio in there. I used to use Duncan Distortions all the time, I got really bored of them... I don't like their sound much anymore, a little too compressed sounding for my tastes. I contemplated putting in the Duncan Custom (SH5) though, that pickups is awesome.

i still need to pay to college, i still need to pay to college, i still need to pay for college...

* maskofduality wishes his grx720 would grow two more frets, lose weight around the neck, and evolve in to an AANJ.

Ok, clip one is the middle position played through the Mesa's "Fat' mode, with a touch more gain then I probably should have used. I like the twang sound it gets. Clip two is on the modern setting, gain on about 7.5 or so.

Saber Clean
Saber Dirty

I can't wait to hear this thing with the Blaze in there

The red one is HSS actually, the 540s7. Super rare though
The green one was painted and setup etc at Lacs for the dude from TTDE or whatever its called. Still a production model s7320 though, just better fretwork, paint, and pups.
