New Schecter Damien/Hellraiser guitars...

I was originally thinking of buying one of those 7-string schecter damien guitars i saw in the February issue of Guitar World, but now in the march issue they have a similar model called the Hellraiser, only differences I can notice being different fret inlays, real emg's instead of emg hz's, 2 volume and 1 tone knob instead of 1 volume and 1 tone, and a 3 way strat style switch instead of a 3 way les paul style switch. Man, I hate choices...

not yet, schecters's site is never updated, and their hasn't been any namm news yet from what i can tell of them. we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, they don't seem to be very good about that. My 007 Blackjack had a press release as they added it to the Blackjack series, and it still isn't on there. I don't think it's been released in the states yet, and maybe it never will be. I might have the only one. Oh yeah.

heheh, I'm just now reading this

I didn't get any pics of the individual Schecter guitars, but I can say their new "Diamond" series 7-string neck through is a pretty sweet guitar. A buddy of mine snapped a pic of me with one of their 7s, but I haven't gotten the photo back yet.

Man, those are hot. If I wasn't loving my 007 Blackjack so much with the Duncans I'd be all over that C-7 Hellraiser. Schecter freaking rules. They're one of the only guitar makers I've seen where when I look at most of thier guitars I can't think of one thing I'd change about them.

schecter seems to be coming through with better and better 7s. they're blowing ibanez out of the water!
