What do you think about guitar without knobs (volume, tone, etc..) like Sanders KXK?. Im going to make something like that with EMG 707..

I kinda like it. The total clean, uncluttered look is rather appealing. The only potential problem (and it's really not a 'problem' per se), is that you'd better have a good gate, and possibly volume pedal and/or killswitch. Or you'll be making many trips back and forth to your master on your amp - to cut squeal, unplug, etc.

I like the one knob look, no knob doesn't seem all that great a thing to me.

Two knobs and more is just fucked up

i dont know what plans you had for electrioics, but i wonder if somthing like real flat "slider" controls on the side or back could be a solution? maintain the functionality, while still getting the super clean look.

keep us updated!

I couldn't live without a volume as it's too usefull live, roll it on and off to kill the guitar, you get used to rolling it quickly

Interesting idea, but i'd be worried about feedback control and not having a quick fix option of killing the guitar

Bad idea.

Even if you don't like your tone knob (and I love mine), the ability to roll back your volume to clean up your tone a bit while playing is incredibly useful, and if nothing else it's good to be able to roll your volume off between songs.

unless you have something like i do, a vamp pro with a floorboard i've got my second expression pedal set up as master gain control, and the first one set up at volume... i've actually got 2 guitars without volume knobs right now lol

It wouldn't be that big of a deal for controlling volume...as in being able to mute/un-mute the guitar in case of a squealing amp, etc.. Just get the Planet Waves cable that has the mute button on the plug...simple.

I like the idea. Very clean looking as well.
