About BC Rich NJ-7

Im thinking of buying an BC Rich NJ-7, do any one knows if its an good guitar? I play alot shred music and alot Dream Theater so does this guitar suit me?
Why im thinking of buying this one is because the ibanez rg-1527 is so freaking expensive in Europe and I want a floyd-rose so I can't choose the 7321.
And which is the biggest difference between the NJ-7 and RG-1527?

btw sorry for my bad english

The 1527 is generally better made and has a much better tremolo than the BC Rich.

Much better bridge, better pickups (though in either case you'll want to replace them most likely), better construction, more comfortable to play...

They're two completely different guitars that are a little tough to compare.

import bc riches are pretty horrible, for the reasons explained above and many more. stay away.

ps: youd be better off with an RG7321. No trem is better than having a shitty one. Doing whammy stuff cant be THAT important that youd prefer to sacrifice tuning stability/tone/etc?

I really hate to agree, because I love having a trem, too... but if a 1527's too expensive and a used 7620 isn't an option, then he's right. the 7321 is really a great guitar for the price, and with a replacement set of pickups is totally a pro-level instrument (andf even then, the stock ones are totally useable, too)

I've had plenty of import BCs and they all played great. You just have to know that you are going to have to set it up properly. Don't expect it to come out of the box perfect. As far as the trems go... same thing. I'm a firm believer that most any guitar, no matter how cheap, can be made to play very well.

Go for the Warlock.

I dont think it has anything to do with the setup, I just think the: woods, components, neck, neckjoint, electronics, finish, hardware, everything on those things are terrible. No matter how well you set it up, it won't change the fact the neck is too clumsy and baseball bat-like. It's just not worth it I think.

I'm still going to stick to my guns and recommend staying away from an imported Rich. Ibanez' play far better than those, as do (newer) Schecters and other brands.

+1 for finding a used RG7 or whatever else.

Yes, the Bronze series sucks, but have you ever OWNED a Platinum Pro series BCRich or higher? Trust me...they are gems out there.
