An alternate tuning question (Fellsilent tuning)
Well, I read about this tuning in this thread So you wanna learn some FELLSILENT stuff?.
The tuning is Bb, F, Bb, Eb, F, Bb, Eb Now, after playing around a lot with it, I've come to really like it. Is there a name for this tuning, or is it just what it is?

is dadgad tuning (Dsus2) in Bb (so Bb Suspended 2)
...I think. My theory is a bit rusty. |

Heh, that thread did the exact same thing for me. Dunno what it is, just haven't felt inspired to write for the longest time til i tried that tuning, and learning immerse has really helped me tighen up my right hand a bit.
John, you gonna be playing Immerse at the underworld tomorrow? I really hope I can make it down, but its my drummers birthday and I dunno what he's doin yet. Heres hoping. |

iv been without a seven string for a while now but i should have an Ibanez RG1077XL (after finally coming to terms with the fact i can afford a UV7BK yet) within two weeks or so an im looking forward to playing around in this tuning again.
"Fell Silent" are arguable one of the more innovative bands around in the UK these days along with "No Made Sense". |
