28 5/8 inch scale seven strings

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm really jonesing for one now. The extended scale length just makes a lot of sense with those extreme low notes and all.

That modified Ibanez is amazing. It's a shame Ibanez doesn't offer that as a stock item.

Does anyone other than Warmoth offer a 28 5/8" scale 7 string?

As far as I know, no one else offers that scale. I got mine done this way because I love the Ibby S shape, and because for $400, completely done my way, hardware and all, shipped to my door, Michael Dolan is the absolute best out there.

Between you and me, I'll probably get the Warmoth at some point, just because I want to take baby steps toward building them myself from scratch.
