Last night I strung-up my old Universe with Garry Goodman's .005 for a high A string (EADGBEA)
hot damn it's fun to play!

the .005 bends up a whole step very easily, and works great with the floyd.
(someone earlier in this thread mentioned light strings not working with floyds - this is not true.)

Mega-thanks to Garry! His strings are going to open up a whole new high range for 7, 8, 9-string guitarists.
