They're certainly nice, but the shape isn't my thing at all.

personally, if it were me designing something with that many frets and you intended to make them all useful, i would move the bridge further up the body and make the neck longer, as well as just give the fretboard a squarish end....although i have to say i do like the body shape.

with white Evo's? hmm... what about a dark blue? like, a transparent blue stain over a natural-wood-to-black burst?

it'd be alot easier to picture if someone could use they 1337 skilz and photoshop these different ideas. Because I was thinking of diff color combos aswell.

Dude, go for it! That body shape is wicked. I hate that color and h/w choice, but it is going to be built to your specs, so go with what will make you the happiest.

Is anyone here good with photoshopping and doesn't mind giving some mock ups of different colors? I know the site has a huge amount, but they are mostly solid colors, which im not interested in. Im basically looking for what I pictured above, wood wise, but am interested in different colors.

I know darren did the originals but im sure he isn't interested in doing more of them so i'm not gonna chase him. But if anyone else wants to just screw around, i'd appreciate it.

i dont like the looks of a leviiiathan (8string). it just looks too fat. conklin and blackmachine 8s look good but i can't get myself to like the look of an lgm 8 string. however their 7 strings are by far my favorite "radical" body shape available to 7string (despite the fact that it's not really that radical). then again you're going for the 7string version so what am i bantering about?
