Well...sounds like there aren't many options for you then

At least your limited options are good ones though.

That's UK prices. $700 = £400 approx, and £350 to £400 gets you a minter over here. Waaayyy too much $ for the US though.

Never knew the did a sunburst finish, I've only ever seen the trans black. That is a good price right now. You'd pay close to the equivalent of $300 just for the pickups here.

That was exactly the same thing I was thinking. The pickups alone are worth $100 on the 'bay.

No, he uses the stock, crappy pickups. Spare parts should be no problem, since hardly anyone makes seven string parts. I'm pretty sure only one, maybe two, companies make a seven string TOM, so that should be easy to replace, and the same company makes the stop tail, too. I think Allparts caries them. The tuners are the standard Gotohs (or clones), so there are a ton of replacement tuners that will fit. Being that the only things seven string specific are the bridge/tailpiece, and the nut (and any tech worth his salt can cut nut slots in a blank), I really wouldn't be too worried.

If you can find them, Dean makes a much better LP-style 7-string. They smoke the Epi in every way.

Schecter makes USA 7-strings, not ESP though.
