Xiphos is sexy. But go for whatever is more comfortable for you. It'll be that much easier to play all that technical and brutal shit if it's on a guitar you're comfortable with.

See if you can try any of them out first.

I'd pick the Xiphos though. I've owned one and it was awesome!

I cannot comment on the Xiphos as I've not played it, but between the C-7 and the Viper, I think the Viper is better. The Schecter is really nice, but the Viper is incredible, I love the neck on them, and the satin finish rather than glossy finish as on most C7's on the back of the neck is a joy, no stickyness with yer hands moving up the next.

If you want the fastest, thinnest neck that comes with great hardware (minus the tuners), go for the Xiphos.
If you want a thicker neck and longer scale that comes with great hardware, go for the Hellraiser.
If you want a in between neck size that comes with great hardware, go for the Viper.

They all have great body woods. A lot of people on this site that don't like Ibanez would normally give the arguement that the other two brands (ESP, Schecter) come with better body woods and hardware. But with your case, this is not true. The Xiphos is a mahogany (wings) body and neck through. Which both the others have a mahogany body as well.

I loved the Xiphos. I haven't played the Viper, but I hear great things and I love ESPs. The Hellraiser is a great guitar but I don't like the longer scale and don't really care for the thickness of the neck. But overall it's a fantastic guitar.

Hope that helps you some.

I would go with the Xiphos myself. Sweet looking guitar and they play awesome!

I want a ziploc rain coat. zepp88

wow, thanks for this answer.
I have long fingers, so maybe thin neck isnt that good! I played 6-string ibanez, now i have b.c. rich warlock with thicker neck and i think its more comfortable for me... but i think warlock6 neck is like xiphios 7 so it will be perfect!!!
and xiphos looks is really sexy and metal!!! I like it...

but lets see some more answers!
thx!

techdeath16 will become famous soon enough
i would get the xiphos or the viper because i dont like schecters in general because the necks are just too thick.
i would say if you're gonna play fast stuff the best one would be the xiphos.
but as the guy above said, they are all great guitars in their own right.
