The projects never end. (707 install)

From day one I was never happy with the tone of the EVO7 after installing it in my 7321.

Something just wasn't right, It cut like a sonofabitch on the high-end but the lows left something to be desired. I tweaked everything, amp settings, pedal settings, pole height on the pickup.. Even rechecked my wiring to make sure I had done it right.

To make a long story short, I began to take everything apart in the control cavity.

..took one last look at the EVO/Stocker.

..told the EVO7 that he was not worth his weight in shit.

And finally after much sweating, swearing and agony.. the 707's were installed.

I picked up the two 707's and all the necessary wiring to complete the job for 97$. Not too bad I suppose, considering it costs more than that for just the single pickup new. All the work was done by me, because it makes it just that much more satisfying.

And by the way, I know my couch is ugly as sin.. but it cost me a case of beer so I can't complain.

When the kite string pops.

It wasn't much that had to be routed out, just the corners of each hole pretty much. The holes are large enough in width already for the 707's.
