Xiphos W/Blackouts

Well I ordered a pair of blackouts about a week ago and got them a few days ago. Finally installed them today. And I'm totally blown away.

The tone on these things are immense, everything I've been looking for. In my honest opinion these blow away the D-activators. I had to sand some of the pickup pegs down to fit in the body and I had to slightly drill the holes where the pots go in, but all was well. :P

These in my opinion sound very very similar to my EMG's with a 18v mod. The tone is spectacular. Pics soon sorry too lazy and busy playing them to take any right now. :P Just wanted to let you guys know, and blow off some good steam.

Agreed, absolutely beautiful! Definitely the right pickups for that guitar - visually, at least!
