Agreed! Sevens are it for me too. It's all I've played for the past five years. When I pick up a six now, esp. my old LP jr, it feels like a fucking banjo. So toy-like I have a hard time taking a six seriously anymore.

Same here - I'm having serious trouble writing any new material on a six-string, and I feel seriously limited when playing one too. Seven is the new norm for me.

I pretty much exclusivly play my 7's now, but I find it useful to pickup my 6 string Warlock that's tuned to drop C# when I get stuck.
