New Arrival, UV777BK

Thanks to Eric’s guitars I am the proud owner of a UV777bk. Here are a couple of crappy pics.

This is definitely one of the best guitars I have ever owned. The overall quality fit and finish and especially fretwork is very impressive. The neck feels extremely smooth, the profile is very comfortable and it plays like butter. I wasn’t sure I would like the Blaze bridge, (generally my preference is to more mid range voiced bridge pickups) but it really does sound great. One thing I really noticed about the UV is how notes really seem to jump out when playing this guitar. Even my wife says things sound crisper and more defined when I’m playing the UV.

I have to also thank Eric who made this one of the best internet buying experiences I've had. He’s great to deal with, answered all of my questions very promptly and provided excellent customer service through the whole transaction. I will definitely not hesitate to deal with him again.

Add a bit more midrange to your signal, dude. Through the right amp, set right, that thing is a ungodly-sounding pickup.

That guitar is breathtakingly beautiful. I've wanted one for so long, but the price tag has kept me away.

when the mid knob is maxed, not a lot i can do. why would i want to start myself out with scooped mids in the first place? it seems stupid to me. adding mids to it is adding something that was never there in the first place, and results in poorer tone than a guitar with a pickup that is already middy. it is ungodly sounding. ungodly awful. i'll add more mid range when i get a new pickup that isn't scooped.
