Yeah they're a tad pricy but definitely worth it. They will sell you just a single pickup (ie bridge) if you email them and ask.

Try A DiMarzio X2N7 as step down in price from the M7. If you like REALLY tight and focussed riffing then maybe a D Activator 7 Bridge would be also good.
