I'm not a luthier, I can't re-fingerboard by neck. Not to mention planing and cutting it. (And no I'm not using a defretted board as my fingerboard)

Yeah, Honestly, Defretting is one of the easiest mods you can do for a guitar.

That's a nice guitar, and I think it'd bring out some pretty cool material.

But when will people realise that it's CARVED top, not arched top?

Thank You, if I had a penny everytime someone called a carved top arched, id have a freakin dime. Drives me nuts.

Defretted boards are great, you can really get them to play great, my main fretless is a defret. Bought it for 30 bucks, defretted it, filled the holes with epoxy (thats what she said) then swapped out the bridge pup for a rio grande single I had laying around. Tuned it to C# standard, and now I have a fretless axe fit for battle.

I swear that guitar looks like a Washburn X37 the control layout and everything.... I think it is one, with a new fretboard and altered headstock:

Yeah: Also, if you yank the frets out yourself, your board will be lined.

It actually turned out pretty good.

That probably is a washburn body with a new neck.
