I don't like extra plastic on the face of guitars where it's not necessary. Those rings just make the pickups look bigger and more plasticky.

I usually hate pickup rings, but i must say it does look better with them.

thanks guys for your thoughts (i like both), but i really do like the pickup rings a little more, just thought i would show you how they look. also these are not cheap pup rings, like i have on my jackson solist

this are full and don't make the emgs stick out so much

. also i have use for the switch, i just havent replaced it. i really would like to here the emg707tw with the different switch sounds.

I think the rings kinda over power the look of the pickups a bit, but its still cool none the less.

I think the EMG housings are humongoid as they are, let alone with rings to make them looks even bigger. But since the route job wasnt the best, it might be a good move. I'd usually vote no, but in this case it's a yes. ;D
