Yes, a new S-7 would be very nice. I'd like to see one like the S7420FM, but with the Edge-Pro or, flying pigs here, a fixed bridge option. Piezo's would be nice, as would the wave or dragon tooth inlays. Even nicer still would be neck-through construction. Finally, mega unlikely here, the fixed bridge being an FX-Edge.

There aren't any currently in production. Your only 'production' options from Ibanez were the RG2027X-VV, the RG7CST, and if you're lucky enough to find one from Japan (there is one on Ebay last I checked), an RG2127X-TKF, which is the same thing as the U.S. version RG2027X-VV, but in a transparent flat black.

I don't know of any other Ibanez 7 models with a piezo.

How did you get yours and how much was it, if you don't mind me asking? If it's not too bad, I'll nab one of those instead of a new Universe.

Well, the only way you'd nab one of these, is if you watched the auction that was on Ebay. Cuz that's the ONLY other one I've ever seen. Mine I bought from Ishibashi, and they don't make it anymore. Cost just under $1200.
