p4vl is on a distinguished road
Are there any 7's that have a 2" (50.4mm) nut?

I have a hard time with guitars that have 1 5/8" nut width, and while I haven't tried every 7 string out there, the ones I've tried seem to have the same distance between strings that 1 5/8" nut guitars have. I noticed that Warmoth offers a 2" locking nut, but does anyone (other than Warmoth, or custom shops) actually make a guitar that uses it?

FWIW, i believe that most trem-equipped 7's have 1 7/8" nuts.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

I think the ESP F-series Sanskrit 7 had a 50mm nut.

According to this list too: bmusic Australia Discussion :: View topic - 2006 ESP Neck Specifications

I also prefer wider nuts, mostly because I've played classical guitar for so long. I think the nut on my acoustic is 54mm. On very narrow nuts, the strings are too close together, and I can't finger chords very well.
