the sicker part? My brother can play it pretty tight haha... that's what you get for practicing Iced Earth for many years. I'm doing pretty decent myself.

I should make a clip with him tomorrow maybe
I listened to the live stormrider, and while the right hand work is amazing and awsome, so tight, I'm not convinced its faster. I think the drums playing in like quadruple the time that thomas plays in kind of gives the illusion that it is.

I used a bpm counter for the part around 2:40, it has a start stop rhythm pretty similar to bleed actually, I got an average of around 210, thats probably a bit off though. I did it for the straigh up xxx xxx riff after that too cause it seemed to pick up tempo and got around 220.

And before anyone says anything, I KNOW this discussion is pointless, it's just for kicks really. I still think bleed is the fastest

I think alot of people don't actually realise how extreme the right hand shit on Bleed actually is.

CentaurPorn is a jewel in the rough
I have always been a big fan of schaffers right hand.
It is some of the first shit I ever tried to learn..Probably not a good starting point but I got a lot of it down eventually..I fail at most everything else though

When Frederik and Marten were doingit live... their arms were pretty tight and they were making faces... you know, the faces one makes when he's really concentrated on what he's playing XD

The part at 2:40 is in fact the same thing as bleed, except it starts on the 8th note instead of the first 16th note in the 16th group.

Maybe were not talking about the same version, because the studio is 212 throughout, and live is atleast 20-30 faster (my ears AND my tendons/arm muscles say so ) whatever it doesn't matter really, just gotta love those riffs

Personally, my favorite part in all of Bleed is at 3:21... xxx x xxx----xxx x xxx x xxx x----xxx x xxx---- etcetc... that part is INSANELY heavy \m/
