![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well i like them to the point where all my 7s are Ibanez, but i certainly wouldnt make the statement that theyre THE best, there are a lot of custom guitar companies that can probally make you a lot better and as such i refuse to call anything the best until I've tried every single seven in exsistance ![]() Knights that say |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I absolutely adore my S7 but I haven't played enough other 7s to really be able to say, and have never played a custom ![]() But out of the three different brands of 7 I have played, I like the Ibby the most cause of the thin neck, solid construction and overall sonic verstility ![]() |

![]() | Agreed as far as production guitars go. I'm sure Sherman or someone can make even better 7s, but then the Ibanez custom shops may well trump them too. The best looks, the best feel, Ibanez has it. I wouldnt consider buying anything other than Ibanez as long as we arent talking customs, I have tried many other 7s I just didn't like, and recently owned a Hellraiser, but sold it after little more than a month cause it was just dump compared to my Ibanezes. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I love my RG7421 but I would not go as far as to say that they are the best. There are many companies that make great 7s as well. I love my Ibanez but I want a KxK or a Sherman someday!!! I want an old Charvel San Dimas with a ZR trem!!!!!I want a ziploc rain coat. zepp88 |

![]() | Best for the money? I'd say Ibanez or Agile. Best for the playability? This is all based on preference. A lot of guys here will say Schecter, Agile, Ibanez, KxK, Jackson, Oni, Roter, Sherman, ESP....it could go on all day. There will never be a definitive answer. Are all my 7's Ibanez? Yes. I'd say the best versatility-wise would be Ibanez. Best quality would have to go to the custom makers. Best sound...with the Ash/maple of the Loomis, some will say Schecter now. It's a tough call. Best thing you can do is stick to your fanboy guns and huddle with the other fandboys. ![]() |

![]() | I love my Schecter, it's way more comfortable and better sounding than the Ibanezes I've tried. But then again I've got used to the neck, which many people seem to hate about Schecter, and I'm not a trem guy either. |

![]() ![]() | I personally think there are much better guitars out there than Ibanez. But as far as reasonably priced production 7's with a decent selection they are hard to beat. I have not however got my hands on a schecter 7 string production guitar. |
