Suggestions!

Hi guys,

I'm planning on getting a 7-string soon, just to mess around with before I actually make a permanant transition to them. I am wondering if you guys could point me to an insanely cheap 7-string.
What I'm looking for is something with humbuckers, a 24 fret neck, and a floyd rose. I plan to play in drop-A tuning, so stability is a must!

Hope you guys can sort me out!

Regards,
Mick.

agile's are pretty cheap, check em out.

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.

Hi,

Checked out the Agiles. Might keep them in mind. Any other suggestions?

ibanez has some cheap but cool rg7's, and then they go to prestige, and those are cool. 600-700 or even cheaper on ebay.

If you get one without a floyd it will open a few more avenues. Schecter and Dean make some cheap 7 strings. Also look for the Washburn WG587 (i think that was the model number), it was very cheap but they don't sell them new anymore. You can pick up most of these easy enough though 2nd hand for a good price.

Floyd would be preferable, but I'm sure I could compromise!

Cheers for that, i'll check them all out.

You could get a Squier stagemaster 7 and install new guts in it. I have seen a few with Floyds but they are the cheapo ones.

I want an old Charvel San Dimas with a ZR trem!!!!!

I want a ziploc rain coat. zepp88

That's what i did. I bought this as my first 7, just to see if i liked it. Stripped the paint, change pickups + electronics... Now, it's my fav. beater. The LFR is solid.
