I haven't had enough time with the Rico Jr yet to answer this question. All I can say is both guitars are absolutely badass. Bernie is indeed a master of his craft. You can't tell in the pics but that black is the shiniest black paint job I have ever seen in person.

not a fan of either headstock, other than that, nice on two counts, but the bernie definately comes second, i love the slight curve to the bernie, but not the inward pointy bits, just a bit too fussy imo. very nice little collection you have starting tho.

Congrats man! It looks fucking sick. I'm glad you finally got it. I'm sorry your dealer screwed you over so bad and made you wait so long. Hopefully it was worth the wait bro. Now you have me really wanting a black one too.

Both guitars were built by Bernie Rico Jr (unless his BC Rich is post-2002), and he's gotten a lot better over the last couple years, so I'm fairly sure his new one is better. Doesn't mean it sounds better though, that depends on his personal taste with woods, pickups, etc.

That BC is HHI. He recently got it from Larry at BeatStreet Music out in Baltimore.

Id be interested to know the differences in the neck profiles, or if they are they same... just to see if HHI has redone the necks from Jr.?

I usually prescibe to the theory that a headstock cannot be small enough, but the beast headstock is just awsome. The Rico V shaped headstock is my 2nd fav, so youve got a couple winners here.
