Yeah, it has an ebony board rather than a stripped ebony. It's officially a KE7 custom, but I specced it out by taking a KE7-J2b as the base model (b = tunomatic) and making changes to that. The KE, RR, SL7-J2b were the last limited edition 7 string run and had alder bodies with maple necks, but had stripped ebony and moto inlays. Mine has an (awesome) ebony board, reverse mother of pearl inlays, mother of pearl logo, trans black quilt veneer on the body and matching headstock cap.

I'm not an expert, but it's as well finished as my USA Jacksons and it sounds huge. It's a great guitar. Althought it does have the world's most massive neck-heel (TM).
