![]() | Replacing the body on my 7620 (56k = lol So a few months ago i spotted an interesting body in Chris Woods' store. I though ok i can fix it up and for $99 its a steal This is the body i got: ![]() so the other day it finally showed up and i got to work on it last night. So i started with this mess where the CNC machine messed up. ![]() ![]() About two hours later i was down to this. I used a file to get out most of the cuts and then i sanded it with 150 grit and then 220 to get to what you see here. ![]() ![]() Tonight or tomorrow night i am going to sand dwon the body with 220 and 500 and route around the edges with a 1/8" round bit so that they arent so sharp. I will update with pics as i go along. Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place. - Desecrated |

![]() seriously, i have only seen 1 time in the last 13 years where a cnc machine was at fault for a mistake. the countless other times have been operator error. looks like a bit of work ahead. good luck. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Not going to lie man, I liked it better before, with the "mistake". ![]() It's a badass rake effect that someone should totally purposely do to parts of a guitar like that. ![]() Schecter Loomis-7 TOM |
