Err... Me.

I know a couple of places like cristopher woods, ET guitars and EKG guitars who can make necks and bodies. I was just going to source the parts and build it myself.

The only other possibility would be to part out a 2x27 or a CST...

If you´re going to go for a OFR you should already now start searching for one because they´re usually hard to get hold of!
Hmm, maybe I could do without a piezo then. I'd rather have an Ibanez trem I think.

I'm a recent OFR convert myself, after playing Ibanez trems most of my playing career. If you haven't logged significant playtime with an OFR7, you might want to grab something with a real Floyd in the meantime to give it a shot. It's a great trem...

Black OFR7's aren't too hard to find, and if you're going the GraphTech route you might want to do that anyway since the saddles are black.

what do you mean black ofr7s arent too hard to find?????
gold ones are pretty easy, black ones are fucking impossible without parting out a loomis or (soon here) a hellraiser fr7. Otherwise, the black ones come up for sale every 8 or 9 months, for just one in stock

also drew, i dunno if you saw the thread matt posted, but theyll be making FR saddles in the different colors now too, so black, gold, chrome.
So you could put pretty chrome piezos on your PWH

Ahh cool.

I've owned I Peavey Wolfgang for 3 years, but that has a licensed trem (OFR), I find it takes loads of resistance, where as an RG350DX I tried in my local store was really really sensitive. Maybe I'd be better off with an OFR?

I was considering a baritone scale, but would this stop me from being able to tune to standard E?

The "feel of a trem is in how it is set up (# of strings etc)

As long as you dont go way extremewith your baritone like 30"+ then you should be fine. alot of the guys here have 27" tuned to Standard or 1 step down from standard you will just need to use a little lighter strings.

Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place. - Desecrated
