Personally I actually want them to make a fixed bridge 7 that doesnt suck. The only one they do now is the RG7321 and the stock quality is shocking!

Yeah, that would be a very logical move for them. And heck, all they'd have to do is glue RG wings onto the same neck blank, rather than Xiphos wings. Of course, now that Chris Broderick is Mr. Megadeth Bigshot, maybe it's time for an RGA-7T signature model...

Coobanez is on a distinguished road
I'm glad that the Edge III doesn't exist as a 7 trem, and I would rather it stay that way. I've had my experience with them and I say it's ftmfl.
A ZR Trem or Edge Zero 7 would be the ideal choice IMO.

I think they should just re-relaese the original 7620's as they were.
those are killer guitars at affordable prices.

Can I be the devil on your shoulder?

Actually, no it wasn't. Original list for a 7620 was $1299 or $1499, I think, and typical street price was about $999. They only became such a good buy when Musician's Friend blew them out for $450.

I for one would rather NOT see a 7320. There's a bunch of affordable trem'd Ibanez 7's on the market already, between the 7620 and 7420. It'd be a bad business move, since they'd basically have to compete with themselves on the used market, and given the choice between a $450 RG7320 with an Edge III and a $450 RG7620 with a LoPro and Dimarzios stocked, we'd tell every new member posting a "should I buy a 7320?" thread to save his cash and instead buy the better 7620 for the same price. the model would flop, in short, and banez would see the lack of sales for an affordable entry-level seven as a sign that the seven string market wasn't as lucrative as they thought.

The biggest gap in their lineup is the shortage of non-RG sevens they've produced - I'd rather see an RGA7 or a higher-end S7, or a new UV (I mean, it's been 10 years - I love the design, but...). That said, if you want to see a budget Ibby 7, their best bet is a Gio 7 with a vintage style trem, at $299 or so, since there really aren't that many affordable entry level 7 choices anywhere.

Though, what I'd REALLY love to see, is anything with seven strings and a maple board.

my biggest complaint with Ibanez.

but, even if they did release one, it's too little, too late for me. another company already fulfilled my demands, and they make a better guitar... *cough*Agile*cough*

they should really adapt the new S's to a 7 string design, 24 frets, ZR trem, nonbasswood body. It'd rule. COurse, it'd be like 1400$.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

False. You earn extra hate for suggesting the Edge Zero is at all in any way an idea not fit for shitting on.

I quite liked the GiO's.

UV's haven't done anything for me since 1991 and I have no doubt in my mind at all that the new one would a)suck b)cost too much and c)be black, so no thanks.

RGART7MXBK or RGART7MXTR please.

(figure that one out :p)
