I respect your opinion, but i think you really should have tried one (for more than 10 minutes) to feel the instrument's vibe. If i take myself as an example, the main reason why i play a seven is because it feels way more natural to me. My hands feels at home. On a 6-strings, my fingers are goin' 2 inches overboard...

ya I get ya ... my hands are lil bitch hands though, I couldnt get my hands wrapped around it and it just felt akward

its kinda funny cuz in this time Rondo never got back to me about a 7 Hornet ... I would've bought it anyway but they just never did ... so I took it as a sign that Im a 6er :P

I almost never chug chug on the lower strings of a 7 unless the song dictates that. I would be in a world of hurt if I had to go back to 6 strings permanently because my whole mindset is based on the fact that I simply have more options for harmonic movement on a 7+ string guitar. I could never go back to 6's exclusively at this point without feeling I was being limited.
