Pro 27

Hi all. Thinking about a Pro27, but I'm in the UK and will have to mail-order - with no returns possible. Maybe you guys can help me out with some advice/info here?

I play with a LOW action. I previously encountered a problem on a guitar where I physically could not screw the Floyd studs down far enough coz the Floyd rout was too shallow and so I couldn't get the strings down to where I like them. Does anyone know if there's enough adjustment on a Pro27 to get the strings super low? No matter with fret buzz, I can fix that, but with a set-neck I couldn't shim either ....

Help!! I REALLY want a Pro27, but hope I don't straightaways have to do surgery on it!

Thanks

That's really helpful, thanks. BTW: the ad mentions a coil tap. So they'd have to be EMG707TW's to do that. Are they? Oh yes, nearly forgot: what price the hardcase?

Thanx again

Thanks, much appreciated.

I didn't mind either way, but it'd good to know. I'll rip out the 707's and put them in something else, and then get TW's for the Pro27.

Any opinion on whether the floyd studs will screw right down so the strings nearly touch the frets?

Thanx

X7
