S7320
Got my 08' Ibanez S7320 a little over a week ago. I'm pleased because it wasn't due in till May. According to the inspection tag it was just 4 days old when I got it. Anyway, I orderd the guitar without ever playing that particular model. Being new to the 7 string world and with Ibanez's reputation, I guessed I couldn't go wrong. I love the guitar. Going from 6 to 7 is so easy. The guitar plays great. I set it up myself with no issues (I like the action really low). I was really suprised at how well the AH 1 & 2s sound. Very ballsy and clear. They sound great clean and heavily distorted. For the price, man, totally amazed!

i still haven't had the opportunity to play one of these. closest i've gotten was Steve's (technomancer) S7420, and yeah, it was pretty damn nice

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

I think I really dig the thin body. It is amazingly comfortable to play. Standing or sitting.

Other than the JP7, its the single most comfortable 7 string neck profile ive ever played on imo.
I have one, but its getting a custom baritone neck made for it. Great guitar though, for the money. For being indo made the fretwork and such was really amazing

personally, i'd have to say that the s7320 is ibanez's best playing 7 string. sure there are prettier ones, but its a kick ass guitar

Speaking of the neck, the edges are so smooth. As far as I can tell, the fret board and frets are flawless. I probably would have purchased a 24 fret neck had it been offered. Purley for looks. I don't have the skill or need for it really. I had just read the artical on Doug Doppler. Interesting thing he had to say about 24s.

i hate 24 fretters, i spent all my formative years on a les paul, so 22 frets just feels right to me

I love mine, first 7 I purchased after deciding it was the way to go (a no brainer obviously). ibznorange, where are you getting a baritone neck for it made? I'm intrigued.

I'm find myself checking out the RG2228. I don't need it, can't afford it, but it looks so cool. Watched a demo with Dino and now I want it.
