![]() | haha i've had the same girl for 4 years, so i'm assuming she digs the hair. i never had women issues over hair though. most women dig hair! i don't think i stated it fully in the thread so here's all what i'm doing to it: + Sand the headstock/body and refinish with new paint + dye the fretboard ebony + sand the back of the neck and refinish with tung-oil + remove the old inlays and put in new neon green inlays (UV7BK style) - on the way!! + change the old trem for an ibanez trs trem (thanks adam!) + rewire the dimarzio blaze bridge/neck with a 3-way toggle and drill the body to install two on/on switches, one to split the neck and one to split the bridge...possibly a third switch for a phase inverter i think that's about it. i haven't completely decided on the color yet and like i said i [i]might/I] re-shape the headstock. it'll probably be done in a few weeks once finals are over. possibly around the 15th of May. |

![]() | almost a month later and i'm still not done ![]() i guess that's what a 2 and a half week vacation will do to you though lol so, i just have a lot of little things to do before it's finally done but here is what i got done so far. halfway done with the new inlays. the old ones were 1/8" in diameter and the new ones are 1/4" in diameter. so far, it has been a pain in the ass to route but i could care less because it's going to look awesome. ![]() a close up of the new inlays drying ![]() i was talking before about reshaping the headstock because i didn't really dig the reverse strat headstock. so, i had my girl draw up a new shape. i really like it and i'll probably be heading over to my friend's woodshop this weekend to have it professionally cut. ![]() just have to finish: + the rest of the inlays + cutting the headstock + staining the entire neck, headstock, and fingerboard ebony + stain the body |

![]() | that's really nice man! i actually drilled to tiny holes in between/above the vol/tone pots for mini toggles to control individual coil splitting of each pickup, Dimarzio Blazes FTW! |
