Actually, the price got raised to $2999. HOWEVER, now it's made in the USA instead of Japan, which hopefully = a better instrument.

Hardly. It's still an alder bolt-on with a shitty trem and EMGs. To pay ~ $1000 above custom shop prices for a cheesy production model is just outrageous. I can't imagine why anyone in the world would want to buy one of these things. There are much better guitars out there for far less money.

unfortunetly no one wants guitar lessons for $10 per hour. these kids think im God at guitar, yet they cant spare some loose change to learn from me.
