JJ, you could buy my Tokai for a nice PRS-style sixer and put that sucker in C standard or something

3 cheers for free gear!

dont worry about that one wire, im just replacing the battery clip as the old one was a little loose.
thought you said it was a bit beat?
looks in good enough nick to me even with the blurrs. I expected huge chuncks of varnish to be missing off the body.
I personally wouldnt get rid of that its pretty ace + blackouts it must sound good.

he's selling it because he just doesnt quite get along with it. Same reason I'm selling my C7.

If you dont play it often, it makes more sense to sell it to someone who will.

in this case, that's me

if you look back, theres some nasty chunk of paint on the bass side of the neck (fortunately not where you feel when playing) and theres a good one on top. shes not destroyed, but shes a good clip off of "like new"

I just dont get on with her. sounds great, feels great, i just dont groove with her, unfortunately. got a killer deal on her too, put some work into her, got some time with a cool guitar. id say im not losing anything.
I woulda shaved her down had the neck not been fractured already

Reverse Headstocks or Bust

It's "pre-budda'ized" cuz im sure it'd get a dent and a shitload of scratches after me owning it for a few months.

rawr budda needs his $$

i hear ya Max. that's kinda how i felt about that used purple 727 i picked up. i already had 2 727s prior to that one so i knew what i was getting into to, but for some reason, i just wasn't feeling that one.

now my blue 727 one on the other hand... . i'm really starting to think there's something going on with Carvin's Sapphire Blue stain finishes, they all just seem to flat out own. i think they put some magical tone dust in that particular finish

Ed, you know how you said the specs for the DC wouldnt be what i was going for?

same body and neck specs as my tokai, which happens to sound badass.

it'll be sweet

No way man, I had two sapphire blue DC guitars and they both sounded terrible (two different types of woods too! ) so I don't think it's the color. I think you got lucky!
