mediaguitarist is on a distinguished road
New project idea i'm working on

Well, i'll prelude this by saying... i hate basswood. It's too soft (easy to ding up) and it doesn't quite produce the tone I want being that I'm more interested in a warmer tone. I'm currently using an Ibanez RG-7321 with body modifications and a Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Bridge pickup (my gosh I love that pickup). I still haven't replaced the neck pickup just yet and here is why. I just recently read on here about a fellow who got a Dean Vendetta 1.7. The chief thing that attracts me to this guitar is the mahogany body that is on it along with the really low price. I've also been wanting to just custom order a body and I'll put the finish on myself (haven't made up my mind for sure which way I want to go with that. But here is what I am thinking... Because I want mahogany bodied 7-strings so bad, I'm thinking order up the Dean Vendetta 1.7, remove the neck from the body (possibly paint the body) and apply the Ibby neck to it along with a Seymour Duncan JB-model bridge pick up and either a Seymour '59 or a Dimarzio Blaze Neck Pick up. (my main questions on this are whether or not the measurements will allign for proper fitting on the neck). The next part of this project includes ordering a body... I've been eyeing Warmoth a bit because I do want a PRS look (Flame Maple top, Mahogany body) but if there are other companies you would recommend over Warmoth for such a job please let me know. But assuming I get the body in and I get the finish just as I want, my next goal would be to gut the body of my Ibanez RG and send the electronics to the new body to hopefully mate with the Dean neck. Granted I will also be spending a bit of money on a Floyd Rose Tremolo for the custom body as well. So to sum it up, here is where I need the help from you guys if you could help at all on these few questions...

1. Will there be fitting issues with Ibanez neck and the Dean body?
2. Will there be fitting issues with the Dean neck to a custom body?
3. For a top notch PRS style body, is there any company that you would recommend over Warmoth?

P.S.
Just for the record, no I won't stick the custom body with the Ibby neck, I think the PRS style body would look goofy with the Ibanez headstock while the Dean Vendetta body would match perfectly in my opinion (and the Dean headstock could possibly work with the PRS style body, we'll see ) Now I'll just go ahead and show some of the pics of my current Ibanez, now I will say the picture quality isn't top notch and this was my first project guitar ever, but I felt pretty proud of it considering it was a first.
