Looks good. As Bobby asked, how does the coil tap sound?

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

Arrgh. It's not a coil "tap". It's a coil "split". (And technically, on the 707TW, it's actually two completely separate pickups under that cover.)

A coil "tap" is a wire that's split off the coil(s) partway through the windings, so you can get a thinner, quieter, brighter "underwound" sound by cutting a part of the windings out of the circuit. Single coils and humbuckers can be "tapped".

A coil "split" can only be done on a humbucker, and it involves cutting one of the coils out of the circuit.

On the EMG TW models, they actually put two pickups under the cover (in the case of the 707TW, it's a 7-string version of the 85 and a 7-string version of the SA) and the "coil split" switches between the two.

This space intentionally left blank.

Does the SA work better for cleaner sounds?

If it's anything like the 6-string version, the SA built into the the 707TW is probably one of the best single-coil options currently available for seven-stringers!

Hey, looks fucking mint. Questions.

What kind of tuners are those?

How did you route out the cavities? Chisel and hammer? Dremel? Laser?

GUESS WHAT I'VE GOT? Fitzgibbons 5000 ultra synapse accellerator which allows me to think faster than the masses and phase in and out of the matrix at will.
