![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Does this sound like a solid rig plan? the C7 replacement options: BAREBONES Carvin DC727 (white, pretty much no options, $1K). OR Dean EVO 7, which would get a pickup upgrade. Evilbay myself a Boss GT-8 for recording and headphone practise for the next school year. wont be able to get much use out of a halfstack lol, but it's being kept because i plan on joining/starting a band. what do people think? I'm torn on a singlecut 7 close to my LP, or a barebones superstrat lol 3 cheers for free gear! "Do you like burned toast with your JAM? cuz we're on FIRE!" ![]() |

Get the Dean if you can score one cheap. From the sounds of it you should be happier. The only proof he needed for the existance of God was music. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | that's what im currently leaning towards to. and $1000+pickups vs 400+pickups.. ![]() an MFX unit is a definite because a) i can use it with headphones b) soo many tone opportunities w/ different amp sims c) can use just the fx with the jsx (no need to buy reverb/delay/phaser pedals) d) i can use it for recording. EDIT: but im also debating just getting a nice 6 and tuning it down to B standard.. i blame the Rotor thread and knowing how good they feel and sound lol. 6 or 7 tossup ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just not getting along with the neck carve and the XJ frets. the scale length doesnt bother me at all, i just dont find the neck too comfy. doesn't hurt that i make $30 over what i paid for it lol. its a nice guitar, just not quiiite the one for me. and i'm at the stage now where i have a pretty good idea of what i want, so i can go for it lol. i now know that i can, in fact, handle a 7-string LOL |
