Standard-shaped EMG 81-7?
I saw this, and I assumed that it was just some ebay seller showing the 6-string version of an EMG pickup. But then I looked closer... is it me or is the "body" of the pickup wider, perhaps wide enough to be a seven-string EMG?

Na, that is just a scrunched up pic of a regular 81, 7 string emg's dont come in standard shape like blackouts. besides if it were real than every one on this site would know about it

No way they would be building custom, smaller pickup enclosures at this point in the game. That would be admission that they should have done so since day one, rather than forcing bass pickup enclosures on guitar players to "keep production costs low"
