Wow, that's an awfully strange place to find Jesus...
The only solution is to obsessively shield everything and buy shielded cables. They are shielded pretty good already though. I have the same problem as I live by where the college radio station broadcasts from... Sometimes I want to break in a steal all of their fuses and siphon the fuel out of their backup generators. |

Yeah this has happened to me. its not your guitar. As others have said, its probably a cable, or a ground issue
Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high, Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie, Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally. Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread Its branches like a Temple overhead. ~Charles Baudelaire http://www.myspace.com/impurity Brutal Skullfucking Death Metal |

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.

This happens to me, and both of my guitarists at our practice space
Richard's JCM800 is the loudest, my Ampeg's pretty bad, and Matt's Dual Rect. is about the same as mine. Richard and I usually both get FM96 (the local rock station), though sometimes his switches to classic rock or something else So far Matt's has been FM96 as well. We're pretty sure it's the crappy wiring in the building, combined with our not-so-great cables, etc. |

It's pretty cool because it doesn't happen at night. I guess their station is closed or something then...

I used to pick up short wave radio signals on my 15w crate. It would interfere with their signals, i'd hear them complaining about static.
You shake your ass but you're already dead.
