i would go over that with some sort of ink-pen, or maybe paint it on the body, and then finish it as is. i would basically just make the drawing blacker, so it stands out. maybe some red coloration first, and then make the outlines black, so the red is in the background... maybe draw some veins and stuff "inside" those branchey-viney things?

anyways, i love the movement it portrays, the direction and all that, it looks nice with the shape of the body

EDIT: nevermind, i saw the burning-it-in thing, and Mike, did you make that bass?

Yes, A close friend of mine does the pyrography. He does alot of wall clocks with that scene, so when I saw them, I gave him a body to try it out on. it took him an hour to do it
