I'm gonna use some of the stuff in this thread when to go about fixing up the trem cavity in my old Schecter, it needs the screw holes filled and redrilled. ![]() EDIT: Just like to add, I hate basswood so much it's much too soft... |

![]() | I've always dug Tuxedo'd 7321's. Looks classy. Questions about the nut: 1) The string spacing, as well as the nut overall, is wider than stock. Any issues with that? 2) Did you have to file the grooves to get the proper action @ the 1st fret, or is it ready to go out the box? |

![]() | 1) string spacing is just a bit wider, but not significantly, it looks like it's more even. Overall trem-nut is just a little wider than stock and stickin out just a bit on both sides 2) didnt file anything, looks like it's ready to do, at least I didn't feel any changes in action one thing that I forgot to mention in my original post is it's not fixed on headstock. Old one was glued, but this one holds there because strings are pushing on it, and it looks like superglue doesn't really work wiith this material. Any suggestions? or is it the way ti's supposed to be? |
